Canon PIXMA MP560 Color Wireless Scanner And Printer

Canon Pixma MP560
I have a Canon PIXMA MP560. This printer is really great for the money. I have owned the machine for around a year now, and am impressed with many of the features of this unit. First, the ink is easy to load and monitor the levels remaining. The printer uses the ink wisely -- and you are able to change each color separately, saving money in the long run.
Second, I really like the quality print this Canon PIXMA MP560 creates. Draft quality is very fast and uses little ink, yet still produces very nice quality printouts. As this is an all-in-one printer, it also copies and scans. I use this feature for work often. I insert either a USB dongle or an SD Card directly into the unit and can scan documents into PDF files effortlessly.
Overall, I would recommend this Canon PIXMA MP560 to someone that is looking for a light duty printer. If usage is heavy, I would suggest a laser printer. This machine is easy to load paper into. You have two options, the bottom tray and the back loader. I keep the bottom loader full of standard paper and use the back loader for envelopes and photo paper when needed. It holds a good bit of paper so I do not need to refill it often.
The MP560 is very easy to use overall and had a very short learning curve. I use the printer wirelessly via my wifi network rather than using a USB cable. The negative to this is it is hard to complete a wireless scan, but the usage of the SD card or the USB dongle has made that a small disadvantage. I do occasionally use it as a copier, and would say it works okay -- but I would not recommend it for heavy duty copy usage as it is slow and uses a fair bit of ink.
I have had around 5 printers in the last three or four years, including several Canon's. This is hands down the best printer I have owned. The ink costs are low and the print quality is high.
