HP Deskjet 2050

I personally have a HP Deskjet 2050. I find it is a really good printer. This machine seems to do really well on ink. I've used it for a bunch of projects and it's still good. Adding paper is quite simple, you just insert it into the slot, like most of the regular printers. It was pretty easy to set up but make sure you never lose the CD, since you'll need it in order to download the software that it requires.

The ink is fairly simple to install. Once you've done it once, you won't forget. The stuff for it isn't really expensive at all. It's around $30.00 for the combo pack of black and color. As I said before, it takes a while to use up. I don't feel that the HP Deskjet 2050 costs a lot to operate. It can print, scan, and copy. It prints papers out pretty quickly. I bought the HP Deskjet 2050 printer from Wal-Mart and am still using it after a little over a year.

I bought it in the store. Considering it's cheap price, it is a great machine. The one thing I dislike about it is sometimes the paper gets stuck if it's not properly inserted. It's an easy fix though. All you do is re-adjust the paper and hit the button that has an "X" on it.

If you're just looking for a nice, simple HP printer though, go for this one! It's only about $49.00, but it does go on sale. Oh, and you have to buy a USB cord. I didn't realize that until I had brought it home and tried to set it up. It comes with a One Year Warranty.

But as I've said before, it's a great printer and you should try it.

The HP Deskjet 2050 Is A High Quality Printer
by: Veronica Foerster

I purchased a HP Deskjet 2050 about 6 months ago at my local Wal-Mart in Southern Illinois. I love this printer and use it almost every day for just personal needs. Though, the quality is decent enough to be used in a professional office setting.

I needed a printer that could scan/copy pictures for me and this one does the job beautifully and very quickly. I have the option on the printer to scan/copy in full color or black and white. When I started installing the HP Deskjet 2050 I found it very user friendly.

I took it out of the box and connected the power cord to an outlet and then connected the USB cord to the back of my computer tower. All I had to do was click "ok" to allow my computer to download the correct driver needed. It was so simple!

I initially had some trouble getting things to print properly. Everything had lines. But I cleaned the printer heads (Found in the program on the computer) and it started printing clear pictures for me.

And the speed of printing is very impressive! I know there are faster printers, but I was amazed with the speed of this one. A full page piece of paper in color can be printed in just around twenty seconds. The ink cartridges for installation just snap into place through a door where the paper comes back out after printing; very accessible. The ink cartridges are also among the cheapest I have seen. I think they were around fifteen dollars for the black ink and a little higher for the color.

Within the last two weeks I replaced the black ink cartridge that came with the HP Deskjet 2050 for the first time. I am still using the color ink cartridge that came with the printer. The paper is top load; which I do not mind, other than having a small space to keep the printer in. Overall, great printer!

The HP Deskjet 2050 Uses A Lot Of Ink And It Is Expensive To Replace
by: Tommy N. Jackson

I bought the HP Deskjet 2050 about 6 months ago. I wanted it because it was cheap and could perform more tasks than just printing. I am a college student so I need to print papers all the time. I also like to do some photography every now and then.

The HP Deskjet 2050 was really easy to set up. All I had to do was follow the directions in the manual. It probably took about 20 minutes to set up. I had just a tad bit of trouble installing the ink cartridge.

One thing that I did not like about the HP Deskjet 2050 printer was that it did not come with the USB wire to connect to a computer. I had to go buy it the next day. I really think that crucial little wire should have came with the dang printer!! The USB wire wasn't too cheap for a wire either.

It is really easy to put paper in. All you do is throw it in and your done. The photo scanner is really cool. It has a surprisingly good scan of pictures. I have scanned a lot of the old pictures I have from back in the day and they turned out fine on my computer.

The printer will also print pictures and copy documents, which is nifty. It does print pretty quickly, but it uses a shed load of black ink. I ran out of black ink very quickly and I still haven't replaced my ink cartridge because of the cost.

I print all of my papers in blue ink now, but my professors don't seem to mind. I'm reluctant to buy a new one because I'm kind of lazy and don't want to, and they are a bit expensive. They run about 20 bucks online, but I guess that's not too bad.

I bought this HP Deskjet 2050 printer at my local Walmart for around 50 bucks about 6 months ago. Overall it has been the best printer i've had so far, just watch out for things falling in between the printer and the paper. Ive had a few things get jammed in there.
